This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of stainless steel, housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250°F. The bearing frame incorporates greasable bearings, and the pump assembly is constructed without a wear ring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 100 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 404T frame. It is configured for 460V, 3PH, 60Hz power with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and is connected to the motor via a Woods coupler covered by an OSHA-compliant guard. This model maintains a PEI value of 0.93 and operates in 40°C ambient conditions with CCW rotation.
