This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze with an integrated bronze wear ring. The pump is built with a cast iron casing and a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing an operational temperature rating of 250°F. The bearing frame utilizes greasable bearings and a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor. It is configured with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 213 T-frame style. The motor accepts 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power and utilizes across-the-line starting. The assembly meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and is connected to the motor via a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. This unit maintains a 40°C ambient temperature rating and a PEI of 0.85.
