This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 10" suction and 8" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with integrally cast mounting feet. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections for monitoring purposes.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 200 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 447T frame. It is configured for a 460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply with an across the line starting option. The motor includes an AEGIS SGR and an insulated bearing on the non-drive end, capable of operating at a 40 °C ambient temperature. The system is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and a standard Woods flexible coupler protected by a coupler guard. This unit meets NEMA standards and has a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
