This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring and an 11-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. The pump utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250°F. The construction includes a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid during operation with clean water.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor in a 213T NEMA frame with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power and utilizes across-the-line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and includes an OSHA-compliant coupler guard and a standard Woods coupler. The system features greasable bearings and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, and the unit maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.95.
