This close-coupled end suction pump comprises a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The pump integrates a bronze shaft sleeve and a ceramic seat half with EPT rubber. The design utilizes a dry shaft that eliminates contact with the circulating fluid, protecting the shaft from the internal medium. This assembly is rated for a maximum pressure of 125 PSI without a wear ring. Pressure tappings are incorporated on the suction and discharge connections for monitoring, while flush seal line taps allow for the installation of a filter to provide protection against non-condensable particles.
The assembly utilizes a 7.5 HP Premium Efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM, which incorporates Aegis grounding and a 380-460V / 3PH power supply. The unit maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.46. The "S" in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 4X / IP 66 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
