This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge, both configured with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal is constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections, and the unit features flush seal line taps.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP TEFC Baldor motor in a NEMA 215 T frame. Power requirements are 380/60/3 with a 40°C ambient rating. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a standard Woods coupler with a coupler guard. The bearing frame contains greasable bearings. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.87.
