This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit includes flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout design. The dry shaft configuration isolates the pump shaft from the system fluid.
This unit is configured with a 15 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure on a 254 JM frame with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply with an across the line starting option. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards, complies with MG1-12.55, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment and has a DOE PEI of 0.94. The top center line discharge design facilitates piping installation and self-venting.
