This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter, a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts and enables self-venting.
This pump is configured with a 30 HP Baldor TEFC motor operating at 3450 RPM. It supports a 230-460V, 60 Hz, 3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor assembly uses a NEMA 286 JM frame style with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and maintains a 40 °C ambient temperature rating with CCW rotation. This configuration has a DOE PEI value of 0.89.
