This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing, a 13-1/2" diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. The assembly uses a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. It is configured with a mechanical seal utilizing a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The bearing frame includes greasable bearings and AEGIS shaft grounding.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP, 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 256 T-frame. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and utilizes across-the-line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler with a protective guard. This equipment is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and has a pump energy index of 0.89.
