This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve. The internal configuration uses a mechanical seal consisting of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This pump is rated for a maximum fluid temperature of 250°F and is intended for use with clean water. The unit connects to system piping via ANSI Class 125 flanges.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 3 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply and occupies a NEMA 182 T-frame. This motor meets premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that features an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. This unit is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and has a PEI of 0.88.
