This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump has a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump uses a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter. It features a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft, which includes a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal is configured with a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The unit includes flush seal line taps for the installation of an optional filter and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. This pump operates at fluid temperatures up to 250 °F.
The pump is configured with a 40 HP, 3450 RPM TEFC WEG motor in a 324 JM frame with feet and a drip cover. It operates on a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly uses an across the line starting option. The unit has a pump energy index (PEI) of 0.9.
