This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is equipped with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. The pump assembly consists of a cast iron casing, a stainless steel shaft, and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The construction utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. Pressure tappings are provided on both suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 100 HP TEFC Baldor motor. It is built on a NEMA 405T frame and is configured for a 460/60/3 power supply. The electrical system supports across the line starting and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base that features an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard for the Woods coupler. This assembly meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards with a DOE PEI of 0.93. The motor is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
