This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a 6-1/4" nominal impeller diameter, a cast iron casing, and a bronze impeller with a bronze wear ring. The unit utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. A mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber manages fluid containment and operates at temperatures up to 250 °F. This model also incorporates AEGIS shaft grounding, pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and a center-line discharge configuration for venting.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 3 HP Baldor ODP motor housed in a NEMA 145T frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards. The motor connects to the pump through a Woods coupler. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan. This pump maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.94.
