This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. The unit has a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" top center line discharge connection. It utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and it is rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. The assembly includes flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout design for field maintenance.
This pump is configured with a 20 HP, 3450 RPM Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor in a 256 JM frame with feet. The TEFC motor operates on 230-460/60/3PH power with across-the-line starting. The motor is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment and follows NEMA standards with CCW rotation. It meets MG1-12.55 efficiency requirements and has a DOE PEI of 0.89.
