This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller. The unit utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly incorporates a dry shaft design and greasable bearings housed within the bearing frame. The pump assembly is configured with a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge.
This pump is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor ODP motor, NEMA frame 213, in a T frame style. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460/60/3 power supply with across the line starting. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base that incorporates an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard for the standard Woods flexible coupler. This equipment is designed for a 40°C ambient environment and has a DOE PEI value of 0.87.
