This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. The pump includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design enables servicing of internal components without disturbing the system piping, while the top centerline discharge configuration supports piping installation and allows for self-venting.
The pump is driven by a 3 HP WEG motor with an ODP enclosure, configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply. It operates at 1750 RPM and uses a 182 JM motor frame with feet. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The starting configuration is across-the-line, and the pump maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.83. The unit is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
