This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates a bronze wear ring, a dry shaft design that prevents contact with circulating fluid, and flush seal line taps. A rear pullout configuration and top center line discharge are provided to assist with maintenance access and piping alignment. Pressure tappings are integrated into the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is driven by a 3 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure, configured for 230-460V/3PH/60Hz operation at 1750 RPM. The motor uses a NEMA JM frame style 182 with feet. It is rated for 40°C ambient conditions and features CCW rotation. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. This unit uses an across-the-line starting option and has a PEI of 0.84.
