This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump includes a dry shaft design that prevents contact with the circulating fluid and utilizes a slip-on bronze shaft sleeve to facilitate seal maintenance. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists with self-venting.
The pump is configured with a 3 HP, 1150 RPM Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor that meets MG1-12.55 standards. The motor features an ODP enclosure and a 213 JM frame style with feet. This unit operates on 230-460/60/3PH power with a standard across-the-line starting option and CCW rotation. It is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures and complies with NEMA standards.
