This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It incorporates a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F in clean water systems. The casing includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections for system monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 1 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. This motor is mounted on a 143 T frame and is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The assembly includes a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a standard coupler guard. The motor features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards under MG1-12.55. The pump maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.91 and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
