This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 2" suction port and a 1-1/4" discharge port. It includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft sleeve. The design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact with the circulating fluid and a slip-on shaft sleeve for seal maintenance. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump is equipped with ANSI Class 125 flanges, a bronze wear ring, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 1 HP Baldor TEFC motor. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and utilizes a JM motor frame with feet. The motor is equipped with AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. This unit includes across-the-line starting and maintains a pump efficiency index (PEI) of 0.78.
