This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly is constructed with a cast iron casing and an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It uses a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and is designed to allow service without disturbing the system piping.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and uses a 10 HP WEG premium efficiency motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 230/460V/60Hz/3PH power supply and features across the line starting. The motor utilizes a NEMA 215 frame and incorporates AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a coupler guard. This unit is EISA compliant with a DOE PEI value of 0.92 and an HI energy rating of 8. It is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
