This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge, both configured with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal is constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 5 HP, TEFC Weg Super E premium efficiency motor in a NEMA 184T frame. It is configured for a 380V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with an across the line starting option. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a coupler guard for the Woods coupler. This unit meets NEMA MG1-12.55 efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
