This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The design utilizes a dry shaft to prevent contact with system fluid and a rear pullout configuration for service. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating up to 250°F. This unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 20 HP WEG TEFC motor in a 256 JM frame with feet. The unit is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is rated for 40°C ambient conditions, meets NEMA standards, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor complies with MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements and the pump has a PEI of 0.89.
