This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge, both utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is configured with a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. The pump uses a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing an operating temperature rating of 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections for monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency TEFC motor, which includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The electrical configuration supports 230/460V, 3PH power and utilizes across the line starting. The motor is mounted on a NEMA 213 frame and is rated for 40°C ambient operation.
