This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller housed within a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. The unit incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve to maintain a dry shaft configuration. The mechanical seal consists of a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and Viton rubber, allowing for operation in clean water temperatures up to 300°F.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 1 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is built on a NEMA 143 T-frame and is configured for 230-460/60/3PH power with across-the-line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. This unit features AEGIS shaft grounding, meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, and has a DOE PEI of 0.81. The motor is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures.
