This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump casing is constructed of cast iron and houses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller with a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft, a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, and a dry shaft design. The internal mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for a maximum temperature of 250°F. The assembly includes a Woods coupling and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard to protect the connection between the pump and the motor.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure in a NEMA 284TS frame. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 power and features greasable bearings. The unit is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integrated drip pan. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and is equipped with AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.95.
