This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly uses a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents fluid contact with the shaft. It utilizes a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing features pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and flush seal line taps.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 213 T frame. The motor is configured for 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across the line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. It features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets premium efficiency standards with a PEI of 0.86. The motor enclosure is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures.
