This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller. The design includes a dry shaft configuration with a bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The pump features flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The discharge is a 5" size, and the suction is a 6" size. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. A rear pullout configuration allows for service without disturbing the connected system piping.
This pump is configured with a 25 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor in a 284 JM frame with feet. The TEFC motor operates on 230-460/60/3 PH power and features a premium efficiency rating meeting NEMA MG1-12.55 standards. An AEGIS shaft grounding ring is included to protect the motor. The unit uses an across-the-line starting option and is rated for an ambient temperature of 40 °C. The pump configuration adheres to a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
