This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. The unit utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact with circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and flush seal line taps.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured for 200V, 3PH, 60Hz operation and utilizes a NEMA 215 T frame. The assembly includes a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. It supports across-the-line starting and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets premium efficiency requirements per MG1-12.55 and has a PEI of 0.91. The unit is rated for 40°C ambient conditions and uses CCW rotation.
