This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction, a 3" discharge, and ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal impeller diameter made of bronze with a bronze wear ring. The unit includes a cast iron casing and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal features a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250 °F in clean water. The design incorporates a dry shaft, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and uses a 15 HP Baldor TEFC motor on a NEMA 254T frame. It operates with 230-460/60/3 power and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is configured for across the line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded base with a drip pan and connected by a Woods coupler within a standard guard. This unit is rated for 40 °C ambient conditions and has a DOE PEI of 0.92.
