This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction port and a 2-1/2" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact with the circulating fluid and a rear pullout configuration for maintenance. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes flush seal line taps for filter installation and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The top center line discharge design facilitates self-venting and reduces piping strain.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 10 HP Baldor motor. The motor is configured with a TEFC enclosure, a drip cover, and AEGIS shaft grounding. The power requirement is 230-460/60/3 PH, and the unit is rated for a 40°C ambient environment. The pump is mounted on a 215 JM frame with feet and meets NEMA standards. The motor complies with MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements. This model has a DOE PEI of 0.86.
