This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction port and a 4" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, paired with a cast iron casing. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It is equipped with a mechanical seal featuring a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings for suction and discharge connections, and the unit does not include a wear ring.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP TEFC Baldor Super E motor in a NEMA 256 frame. It is configured for 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply with across the line starting. The motor meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The equipment is EISA compliant and rated for a 40°C ambient environment.
