This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction connection and a 5" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter. A dry shaft design prevents the pump shaft from contacting system fluid, while a replaceable slip-on bronze shaft sleeve facilitates seal maintenance. The pump includes a mechanical seal comprised of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists with self-venting and piping alignment.
The pump is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and utilizes a JM motor frame with feet. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. Starting is managed through an across-the-line method, and the assembly features a PEI of 0.91.
