This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. It incorporates a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to prevent contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump features flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping, and the top centerline discharge simplifies piping layouts.
The pump is driven by a 20 HP WEG motor at 1750 RPM and is configured with an ODP enclosure. It operates on 230-460V/60/3PH power and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The motor utilizes a JM frame style with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The operating ambient temperature is 40°C, and the unit is configured for counter-clockwise rotation with across-the-line starting. This pump has a pump energy index (PEI) of 0.94.
