This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It includes a bronze wear ring and a mechanical seal composed of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250 °F operation. The unit is intended for clean water applications and includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections for system monitoring.
The pump is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply. The motor features a NEMA 213 T frame and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. It operates at 1750 RPM and uses an across the line starting method. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This model is equipped with AEGIS shaft grounding and has a DOE PEI value of 0.86.
