This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing and an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze. The design uses a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft configuration that prevents fluid contact with the pump shaft. A mechanical seal is utilized, consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump is equipped with flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates with a 5 HP Baldor TEFC motor at 1150 RPM. It is configured with a 215 JM motor frame style with feet and utilizes 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump uses an across-the-line starting configuration and operates in a 40°C ambient environment. The rear pullout design allows for service access, and the top center line discharge orientation supports pump self-venting.
