This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 5" suction and 4" discharge, including ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal impeller, a bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. The assembly includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250 °F. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the system fluid and the shaft. The unit features flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge facilitates piping layouts.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and uses a 30 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured with a JM frame style, size 286, and includes feet for mounting. The pump operates on a 230/460/60/3 PH power supply. It meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly maintains a PEI of 0.92 and functions in 40 °C ambient conditions.
