This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a bronze wear ring, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operating temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump assembly uses a dry shaft design and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, along with flush seal line taps. The impeller has a 13-1/2" nominal diameter.
The pump is driven by a 50 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure on a 326T NEMA frame. It operates on 230-460/60/3 electrical power with an across-the-line starting configuration. The unit is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This configuration meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.93 and is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature with counter-clockwise rotation.
