This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction port and a 2-1/2" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to prevent contact with the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and provides flush seal line taps. The rear pullout design permits servicing without disconnecting system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration supports self-venting.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP WEG TEFC motor. The motor is configured with a JM frame with feet and supports 230-460/60/3 power input. It features an AEGIS shaft grounding ring, operates at a 40 °C ambient temperature, and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The rotation is CCW as standard. The pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.89.
