This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, suitable for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The construction incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and circulating fluid, a slip-on shaft sleeve, and flush seal line taps. Pressure tappings are provided on both suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design permits maintenance without removing system piping, while the top center line discharge configuration assists with self-venting.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a JM frame style with feet. The pump is configured for a 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump operates in a 40°C ambient environment with standard CCW rotation. It maintains a PEI value of 0.87 in accordance with DOE regulations.
