This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter. It includes a stainless steel shaft, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a mechanical seal comprised of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This seal is rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump design utilizes a dry shaft to prevent contact with circulating fluid and features a center-line discharge for air venting.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured for 230-460/60/3 PH power and features a NEMA 256 T frame. It meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. Across the line starting is standard for this unit, which has a DOE PEI value of 0.89.
