This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing and cover with a 5" suction and 4" discharge equipped with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a rear pullout design and a top center line discharge to simplify piping layouts. A mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber handles temperatures up to 250 °F. Flush seal line taps are provided for the installation of a filter, and the unit includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is configured with a 15 HP TEFC Baldor motor, which is mounted on a 254JM frame with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM using a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and features an across-the-line starting option. The motor is rated for 40 °C ambient conditions and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. This unit includes a dry shaft design that eliminates contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The pump assembly maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
