This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The assembly includes a 13-1/2" nominal impeller constructed of bronze and a cast iron casing with an integrated bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections for system monitoring.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 100 HP, TEFC WEG motor in a NEMA 405 T frame. It is configured for 460V, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a standard coupler guard protecting a Woods coupler. The motor features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards. This unit has a PEI of 0.93 and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
