This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction port and a 4" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. The pump utilizes a stainless steel shaft protected by a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact with the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and it is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor. It is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. The motor is housed in a 254T NEMA frame and meets premium efficiency standards, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is secured to a welded base with an integral drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. The system is designed for operation in a 40°C ambient environment.
