This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a cast iron casing with integrally cast mounting feet and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The pump contains a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design prevents fluid contact with the shaft. It includes a mechanical seal with a Ni-Resist seat, carbon rotor, and Buna rubber elements, rated for 225°F. The pump also includes flush seal line taps to allow for external filtration.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 213T frame. It is configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with an across the line starting option. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan, a standard Woods coupler, and a coupler guard. The bearing frame utilizes greasable bearings. This model meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump carries a DOE PEI of 0.86 and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
