This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a 9-1/2" bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly is configured without a wear ring and utilizes sealed-for-life ball bearings.
This pump operates at 1150 RPM and is driven by a 3 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 213T frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3 with a 40°C ambient rating. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that features an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The power connection is across the line, and the rotation is counter-clockwise.
