This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. Construction includes a cast iron casing, bronze wear ring, and an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller. The stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve utilize a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the fluid. A mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber provides service up to 250 °F. The unit includes pressure tappings at the suction and discharge ports and flush seal line taps.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM with a 20 HP WEG TEFC motor. It is configured for a 380V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply and utilizes a NEMA 256 T frame. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards with a PEI of 0.92. The assembly uses a welded base with an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a standard coupler guard. This configuration includes AEGIS shaft grounding, across the line starting, and a 40 °C ambient rating.
