This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and an 11" nominal stainless steel impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and Viton rubber. This configuration is capable of handling clean water at temperatures up to 300°F. The assembly incorporates greasable bearings within the bearing frame to support operation.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 254 T-frame with a TEFC enclosure. It meets premium efficiency requirements per NEMA MG1-12.55 standards. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3PH with across the line starting. The system includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring, a welded base with an integral drip pan, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard for the Woods coupler. This unit maintains a 40°C ambient temperature rating and has a DOE PEI value of 0.87.
