This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge. It is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" bronze impeller with a bronze wear ring. The pump includes ANSI Class 125 flanges, a stainless steel shaft sleeve, and a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250°F. The design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent fluid contact with the pump shaft and provides flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, while the top center line discharge assists with self-venting and piping layout.
The pump is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure, a drip cover, and AEGIS shaft grounding. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460V/60/3 power supply with an across the line starting option. This unit features a 213 JM frame style with feet and conforms to NEMA standards with a 40°C ambient temperature rating. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements and the pump has a PEI of 0.84.
