This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a stainless steel shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The pump assembly incorporates a bronze wear ring and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP, 380/60/3 TEFC motor. The motor is a WEG T-frame style, NEMA frame 254, which meets NEMA MG1-12.55 Super E premium efficiency standards. The pump is configured with an across-the-line starting option and is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The system is rated for a 50 °C ambient environment and has a DOE PEI of 0.92.
